Seek and meet!

Sitting by the passing clouds I see,
In a blink, what I beheld and that you let free
Yet, we meet at a crossroad unknown
I don't reside in me,
The one I was, the one you knew
After you, perhaps never will be.
And, you are-
I ceased to recognise that, day
long gone...
In a retreat, in a dark corner,
The ink has bled,
Words have scarred,
Met on paper, time has wheeled.

Today, a beat does not skip
My eyes do not seek
Those certain traces haunt no laughs,
The roads do not call.
A smile lingers at my lips' corner still
In a renewed confidence or so I think,
My eyes have met yours,
Yet, another time inks feed,
Words bleed,
In midst of all, I know you do still read.

Perhaps this isn't the end,
For who are we really?
Only just pieces of chess?
Games will roll, destiny will play
There'll be time that'll stay.

The world will shift,
In a white wash,
In a blink,
In a place borrowed from a fairytale
When the cosmics collide,
In a parallel universe,
In a wishful world of dreams,
Beyond measures of time and realms,
Deep inside the quiet slumber
In a world that isn't this,

In a sweet surrender, in no retreat,
You will seek, I shall meet!

  3. Raj: where have you been? :D.
Yes, its actually inspired by the love story of Sir John Keats and Fanny Browne. Thanks yeah! :).

I want to write more, I so totally do. My job is too demanding. Hardly ever find time. Caught in the corporate compounds of sorts! :D.
